What is the Helix’s payload (weight) capacity

The Standard Helix can support payloads up to 16 lbs (7.3 kg). The Helix Jr. can support payloads of up to 10 – 12 lbs.

Can the SDI pass-through be used for recording?

Due to the nature of the slip ring connections used in the SDI pass-through, we do not recommend using the SDI pass-through as a recording source. We only recommend the SDI pass-through as a preview source, when doing 360 degree rolls with the Helix. We recommend connecting your recording sources directly to the camera.
